BEND NORTH SOFTBALL
Bend North Softball was created in 2018 to provide a positive recreation and developmental softball program for the girls age 5-14 in our community. We strive to make our league's environment conducive to developing an attitude of wholesome sportsmanship and respect for fellow teammates. Playing softball encourages girls to become physically and mentally fit, build confidence & self-esteem.
Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
League Age
Little League Softball uses what is called "league age" to determine player's age and recommended division. School grade or other factors are not considered when placing players in the recommended division. This is determined based on the age of the player on December 31st.

Skills Assessment & League Draft
Players in Minors, Majors, and Juniors are required to attend a skills assessment before the start of each season to provide managers an opportunity to evaluate players' strengths and weaknesses before the player draft. The assessment helps Bend North Softball create balanced teams for a fun and competitive season for all players. More info
Regular Season
The regular season starts March 14th for the upper divisions (Minors, Majors, and Juniors) and includes three weeks of practices before games start. The Rookies division will start April 4th and all divisions wrap up play by second week of June.
There are no games played during Spring Break or Memorial Day weekend.
End-of-Season Jamboree
We host a three-day end of season jamboree in a tournament setting. There will be food trucks, concessions, national anthems, player announcements, walk-up songs, full umpire crews, and championship awards. Our goal is to provide every BNLL Softball player with a tournament experience similar to that of All-Stars. This is where the season-long hard work pays off and we crown a jamboree champion.
All-Stars
All-Stars is a competitive post-season team. Team member selections are based on player and manager input and rosters are formed based on the approved All-Star selection process. The All-Star season begins early-June and follows Little League Tournament play rules and schedules.
